SynSaber appoints Michael Quigley as chief architect
SynSaber has announced the appointment of software industry veteran Michael Quigley as Chief Architect. Quigley brings to SynSaber unmatched and proven experience in building software foundations for fast, adaptive and innovative products.
As Chief Architect, Quigley will be responsible for the design and development of SynSaber’s core software products and will work to bring the company’s first product to market in the coming months.
âWith decades of experience, Michael is recognized as the kind of engineer who sees through abstractions and gets to the heart of problems,â said Ron Fabela, CTO and co-founder of SynSaber. âHe has a long history of delivering innovative software products in a number of challenging areas and is a project manager with a natural talent for solving difficult and complex problems in ways that delight customers. We are delighted to welcome it as an integral part of SynSaber.
An accomplished software professional with over two decades of experience, Quigley has a well-established ability to combine software development and business knowledge with a clear understanding of environmental influences.
Prior to joining SynSaber, Quigley served as a Senior Software Engineer for software-defined networking company NetFoundry, where he helped design and develop a next-generation open-source software-defined networking product. Prior to NetFoundry, he served as CTO at automated exam security company ProctorFree, and also served as Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services working on EC2.
âI am incredibly excited to be a part of SynSaber’s future. The company is truly in a league of its own as a unique industrial asset monitoring solution, and at a time when our most important critical infrastructures have become the target of sophisticated threat actors, âsaid Quigley. âI look forward to helping the founders of the company bring their vision to life, while helping to protect the resources we rely on every day. To be able to support and maintain this development with such a respected and experienced team is a fantastic opportunity. “
Launched in July of this year, SynSaber is developing a technology agnostic solution that enables simple, efficient, low hardware, and hassle-free monitoring of assets and network that provides continuous insight and knowledge of status, vulnerabilities and threats at every point in the industrial ecosystem, including IIoT, cloud and on-premises.
SynSaber is now accepting applicants from companies in the energy, utilities, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries to join its closed beta program. Organizations that join the program will have early access to ultra-small ICS sensor technology and have the opportunity to help shape the future of industrial security.
